The project began in early 2020.
The development of the TE37SAGA S-plus was on track and cleared the bench test. After seeing the results of the actual running test and the victory in the Super Taikyu 24-hour race that year, we began full-scale development of the SAGA SL.
The SAGA S-plus has been sublimated into a wheel intended for use in the Super Taikyu race, and has been designed and developed with a wide range of vehicles in mind. On the other hand, the original definition of the SL is “lighter than the original wheel,” “TE37 racing concave,” and “black clear finish with diamond cut that shows the traces of weight reduction that are characteristic of the SL.” The only unfortunate thing is that by sticking to this style, the vehicles that can be installed are limited.
However, we believe that we have achieved the “fearlessness,” “unique atmosphere,” and “new performance” that you can feel when you install the SAGA SL. There is meaning and significance in remaking the TE37 SL. This is because SL has a unique style that always seeks unrivaled strength and light weight. Don’t take it lightly and say “we sought strength and light weight.” Because only those who are truly qualified to say so can be allowed to do so.
